THE WORLD IS IN A BIG MESS
Today as I read the Dallas Morning News, I was struck by all the problems in the world, the debates of running those folk down who are trying to make a difference, especially is they are on the other side of the debate, natural disasters, wars and rumors of wars, famine, pestilence, and world wide medical problems like Aids and Malaria. It seems to me that what the world is crying out for and certainly try's to deny in every way is Jesus Christ! We as Christians must NOW take a stand for our faith. Not the church form of Christianity but the form that is brought about because of a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. I mean the life and world changing form of Christianity. If we don't, then some negative false religion and God will fill the vaccum. What do you think?

First of All-Hello Bruce,
also I Agree its a , Big Mess!
AnD since you and I went to high-school together we both know that we were definitely Blessed for having grown-up during what I like to call, 'The Good Ole Days!
I also want to say that I have been a Christian since I was 9 years old and I have Never before been , attacked for my Beliefs untill just recently. That means I that I went for 50 years for someone (Who I dont know) would basically insult Me and Group of other Fellow Believers on FB-JUST Because , We were exercising our God-Given Rights and we formed a Prayer-Chain. The Prayer Chain was for Folks in West TX that had Wild Fires--consuming Homes whatever was in its Path. But to go on with my Story, This GUY, that No one actually knows--followed Prayer Chain Link--which was an additional page not on main Facebook Pages--you had to deliberatly make choice to go there. Well he decided to take it Upon Himself to just Bash Christians or whatever you want to call it. He commented over 20 times and used Vulgar Language and everything else to show his Distaste for Christians. I might add that he was Banned from commenting on Page after he would not Stop..leaving His Rude Comments on there. He wasnt banned for posting--he was banned cause he wasnt following all Rules --he wasnt suppose to use vulgar language and he wasnt suppose to be on there putting others down for their Beliefs. I wanted to say something to Him. I was little Mad at first, and then I decided I could not post if I was angry so I waited. After I thought it over--I wanted to let Him KNow that God Loved Him and that I Loved Him and that WE were only on there to Use our God Given Rights to Pray for People who needed Our Prayers and who needed Help because the Fires were just destroying Thousands of acres and people were losing their Homes. But before I could Post a Fellow Christian left a Post for Him and He was very Kind and in No way--did he show Nothing But Kindness to Guy who was leaving Angry Posts about Christians. He said We werent on there to have a confrontation with People who had Different beliefs than we did but we were there to Show Concern and Compassion for our Fellow Texans. He also said that this Guy went out of his Way to Make Statements against Christians, since he had to actually follow a Link in order to see Prayer Page. So he told Guy that he needed to Find Himself another Place to Post Such Nonsense! He said Guy was taking Peoples Time away from Good Works that Others were trying to get Done. I AGREE ITS TIME TO TAKE A STAND! I was posting Heart-Felt Prayers on there for People of Texas--because I felt Like I had to Support them and then this ONE MAN-THINKS He can Take that AWAY from ME-Cause He Has No Belief in My LORD JESUS CHRIST--I DONT THINK SO! Thats Not Going to Happen if I can HELP IT! Thanks Bruce for letting Us Tell Our Storys without being-Harassed by Some Unbeliever! KathyL...
Barbar I want to applaud you for standing up for your faith, even in the midst of adversity, and give a clear consise witness to the loving saving grace of Jesus Christ. Let us all follow your example of witness when it's tough, but what about witnessing when it's easy. I mean clearly telling our family, our friends, our fellow work mates about Jesus Christ. A casual comment at the grocery store or cleaners or even to the one who serves us at a restaurant. Our world, more than ever before needs to hear the clear message of the Gospel story...namely that God became flesh in Jesus Christ. Jesus Christ died for our sins and offers, after our repentance and acceptance of His work on the cross, everlasting life.
